Welcome to the 21st Festival Bled!

We are pleased to invite you to the International Music Festival Bled, which will take place under the auspices of the Bled Culture Institute from 1 July to 16 July 2016. Several Bled venues, Bled Castle and Festival Hall included, will host a total of 12 concerts. The detailed concert programme will be avilable shortly, but we can already promise that the Opening Concert will be a special treat for all music enthusiasts!

Concerts of various music genres and styles will be accompanied by masterclasses and outreach workshops where master musicians will share their knowledge with young talents. In the course of over 20 years, the masterclasses of Festival Bled, led by its Artistic Director of many years, Mag. Jernej Brence, have been attended by over 1,900 aspiring musicians, many of whom have by now gained international renown.
In 2016, as in previous years, the organisers have invited world-renowned professors of violin, viola, cello, chamber music, and singing, and organised jazz, rock, pop and ethno music workshops.
