Leighton Park School is a leading independent day and boarding school for girls and boys in Berkshire, England, for ages 11-18. Its music department is one of the busiest places in school, catering for various musical tastes from classical to jazz, indie to rock. The school is a Flagship Yamaha Music Education Partner, the only secondary school in Europe to hold this prestigious status.

The concert programmes the students will present in form of ensemble performances, a cappella works and soloists’ contributions, include film music, jazz standards and classical showpieces.

Rosemary Scales has been the Director of Music at Leighton Park School since 2003 and is the conductor for the Senior Choir and the Orchestra. She has led several overseas concert tours to European destinations including Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, Italy, France, Croatia and Greece.
