Milan Stanisavljevic was born in Kragujevac, Serbia. He started to play piano at the age of 9. He finished primary and high school for music / classic piano department. His very first jazz steps was made together with famous Belgrade jazz pianist Milos Krstic. At the age of 18 he studied FMU Beograd (Faculty of Music Arts Belgrade), and graduated in Harmony with Harmonic Analyse in the class of prof. Rastislav Kambaskovic. After Belgrade, he went to one of the oldest european jazz school, Universitat fur Musik und Darstelende Kunst Graz - Austria. He studied jazz piano in the classes of Dr.Harald Neuwitrh, Claus Raible and Olaf Polziehn. He aslo had a chance to learn from great pianists such as Renato Chico, Fritz Pauer, drummer Howard Curtis among others great profesors on the school. He made his Bakkalaureat diplom in january 2008 and straight after he continue a master studies. In January 2010 he had successfuly finished his master studies.On many workshops at the school he met Billy Hart, Ron McLure, Jerry Bergonzi, Dave Santoro, John Holenback, Geofrey Keezer, George Cooligan, Peter Helbotzheimer, etc.
Milan has been leading a couple of projects until now. The leatest one is piano trio together with Andjelko "Djele" Stupar (drums) and Milan Nikolic (bass). His cd "Awakening” recived credit on a prestige jazz web site All About Jazz. He played with: Stjepko Gut, Mimo Mitrovic, Ratko Divjak, Femi Temowo, Klemens Marktl, Adam Klemm, Christopf "Pepe" Auer, Gasper Bertoncelj, Jure Pukl, Igor Matkovic, Cene Resnik, Gasper Persl, Robert Jukic, Nikola Matosic, Marko Djordjevic, Jadranka Juras, Nina Strnad, Vladimir Kostadinovic, Branko Sterpin.
